Personal cleanliness is very important. Deadly pathogens can be found on hair and skin that are not maintained. Restaurant staff most always keep themselves and their uniforms clean to make a good impression on customers.

Handwashing
This is the most important part of personal hygiene. There are many different reasons to wash your hands including, but not limited to: using the restroom, touching your face, sneezing, coughing, or using a tissue.
Work Requirements related to Illness
Employees who have an illness that has one or more of the following symptoms: (Diarrhea, Jaundice, Vomiting) cannot work and most not report to work. It is the managers' responsibility to make sure no employees come into work with a sickness that includes those symptoms.
